Bonus Opportunities:

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus

No need to wait a long time or reach a certain amount of miles to get your sign-on bonus. Some carriers hold this over your head to keep you with them as long as they can. We want to reward you as soon as possible. Our sign on bonus is paid in 4 installments of $625 after completing 30, 60, 90, & 120 days of your contract.

$500 - First 30 Days Under Contract Program

We understand that the first 30 days of your contract are important. That's why we want to reward your dedication. If you voluntarily elect to make your tractor available for the first 30 days of your agreement, we will pay you $500.

$500 - Calendar Month Program

Why only be compensated for your hard work and dedication for the first month? If you voluntarily elect to make your tractor available every day for a calendar month, we will pay you $500.

$0.01 Per Mile - Rate Increase Eligibility

We get it. Homework is something you never thought you would want to do again. But if it means getting extra money, it might be worth it to you. If you voluntarily take all 4 quarterly safety classes during your contract year in addition to the Ethics and Technique class, we will give you a $0.01 per mile rate increase.

$125 - Monthly Retention Bonus

After the final month installment of the sign-on bonus, Independent Contractors will receive a $125 retention bonus every month they are contracted with TransAm.



  • Valid CDL-A
  • Minimum 21-years-old
  • No DUI convictions in last 2 years
  • No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 6-month period
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 12-month period
  • No more than 3 moving violations in 3-year period
  • No reckless driving violations in the last 5 years
  • DOT physical & drug screen required
  • Required to take the tractor and trailer home during home time and must have secure place to park the equipment at home location
