We understand that changing jobs or starting a new career can be a challenge. At TransAm, we want to start you out on a path for success. That is why we offer Transition Pay for new drivers joining TransAm Trucking. Our Transition Pay is paid in four installments after completing 30, 60, 90, & 120 days after joining the TransAm team.
As a company driver, you will have access to great equipment including the Kenworth T680 equipped with the PACCAR MX engine which is fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly, and very quiet. All trucks have automatic transmissions which mean less fatigue in traffic, a safer, smoother ride, and great fuel mileage. All trucks have condo cabs, dual bunks, refrigerators, Auxiliary Power Units, power inverters and are satellite radio-equipped.
At their option, Independent Contractors who wish to lease a tractor through ONE Leasing will have access to this same great equipment.
After the final month installment of the Transition Pay, drivers will receive a retention bonus every month they are employed with TransAm. Company drivers will receive $200 each month he or she is continuously employed with TransAm Trucking. Independent Contractors will receive $250 each month he or she is continuously contracted with TransAm Trucking.
TransAm Trucking offers a tuition reimbursement program to our student drivers. We want to invest in you and help you repay your truck driving school loan. We hire graduates of truck driving school programs across the country and we will reimburse $125 per month up to $6,000.
All amounts stated herein represent gross pay and are subject to change, and are subject to Federal, state, and local tax and other withholding requirements.
