By Kimberly Pavel / March 9, 2018

Company Driver of the Month – Jim Scott

After 24 years as a company driver for TransAm Trucking, Jim Scott is retiring. We are recognizing him as February’s Company Driver of the Month because of his tremendous impact on us and on individuals in the trucking industry. His positive influence touched many people and, as his Driver Manager says, “He will be greatly missed”. Thank you, Jim, for all your years of service. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors!

Independent Contractor of the Month – Vladimir Safronov

Being alert saves lives. Last month, Vladimir came across a man walking in the middle of the road. The man was walking with traffic and did not have on reflective clothing. Because Vladimir was alert and aware of his surroundings, he was able to safely miss the pedestrian and everyone was able to continue safely down the road. Thank you, Vladimir, for being a safe driver. We are glad to honor you with our Independent Contractor of the Month for February Award!

Regional Driver of the Month – Terry Narramore

We are pleased to recognize Terry Narramore as TransAm Trucking’s Regional Driver of the Month. Truck driving is a team effort and Terry goes above-and-beyond for his fellow team members. Terry is known for going out of his way to help other drivers. If another driver needs help, Terry is quick to volunteer. We are lucky to have such a caring individual on our fleet. Thank you, Terry! Congratulations!

Mentor of the Month – Eric Friend

Congratulations, Eric Friend, on your TransAm Trucking Mentor of the Month achievement! Eric is an inspiring mentor because he is eager to share his experiences and the lessons he’s learned throughout his career. Eric tells his mentees that every day is different. It doesn’t matter how long a person has been driving a truck, Eric believes in treating each day like it’s the first because each day offers new chances to learn and grow. Thank you, Eric! We appreciate you!
